Thousands of people flocked to the Thames on 11th September to celebrate London’s river as TideFest returned to Chiswick for a third year. Glorious sunshine on Sunday ensured a great turnout on an action-packed day at Strand-on-the-Green, with local MP Ruth Cadbury one of the many visitors who tried her hand at kayaking and visited the stalls and marquees along the riverside embankment.
Tidefest - supported by the Thames Tunnel Now Coalition with sponsorship from Tideway, Fullers and Thames Water - is an annual event to celebrate the recreational and environmental importance of the Thames Tideway to Londoners.
